Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. He uses rock type so Pikachu will be usuless against him as electricity dosn't effect rock. When you pass the woods and get to Pewter City, You will have to battle Brock the Gym Leader. Then if you got the fire type, get water this time, if you got water, get grass, if you got grass, get water. Then trade it to your other game and restart your game.
